Burlington, Ontario · Canada
Investing in people who make their communities stronger.
The Donald F Hunter Charitable Foundation provides grants to registered Canadian charities working in education, community well-being, and health, with a lasting commitment to Burlington and the Halton Region.

"Give where you live, and give where it lasts."
About the Foundation
A family legacy of generosity, carried forward.
The Donald F Hunter Charitable Foundation was established to continue a lifelong belief that strong communities are built by neighbours who look out for one another. Today, the Foundation carries that belief forward by funding the charities that do this work every day.
We are a private, independent foundation. We do not run programs ourselves; instead, we partner with registered Canadian charities and qualified donees whose work is thoughtful, practical, and rooted in the needs of the people they serve.
- Local roots
- We prioritize organizations serving Burlington, Halton and the surrounding Ontario communities we call home.
- Long-term partnership
- We favour multi-year relationships that give charities the stability to plan, grow and measure real outcomes.
- Responsible stewardship
- Every dollar is managed with care, transparency and accountability to the people it is meant to serve.
